skatepark in Dietenbachpark
The skate park in Dietenbachpark is one of the largest and most modern skate parks in Germany. The total skate area of the facility is 2,400 square meters and is equipped with many different skate elements, sliding edges, pool edge stones and skate railings.
Both professional skaters and beginners get their money's worth on the spacious grounds in the middle of the beautiful Dietenbachpark. The park has specially designed skating elements with different levels of difficulty. The highlight of the park is the replica of the famous Arto Saari Bowl from California, which has been realized true to scale. This is a rounded swimming pool, also known as a backyard pool. Modern skating originated in such backyard pools. In 2015, the skate park in Dietenbachpark was built at the request of the Skatement initiative thanks to the commitment of the local council and the support of the Eugen Martin Foundation. The initiative then continued to campaign for the expansion of the skate park, which was finally realized in 2020. See for yourself and visit one of the largest and most advanced skate parks in Germany. Please observe the visitor rules and only enter the park when it is light and the surface is dry.
