Disc Golf Freiburg Dietenbachpark
Disc Golf at Dietenbachpark: The public 9-hole course by Heads Up Freiburg offers a variety of throws in an urban park setting.
The Dietenbach Headsup disc golf course in Freiburg’s Dietenbachpark is one of the region’s well-established courses and is maintained by the Heads Up Freiburg e.V. club. Since 2019, the public 9-hole course has offered a varied combination of technical throws, open park areas, and precision shots.
The course winds through the expansive green spaces of Dietenbach Park in western Freiburg. The predominantly flat terrain makes the course easily accessible even for beginners, while the hole design—featuring varying distances and throwing lines—provides athletic challenges. The holes feature various tee areas and professional catch baskets.
Since the course is located in a heavily used public park, disc golfers share the space with walkers, families, and others seeking recreation. Consideration and careful play are therefore especially important. Dogs are allowed, and the course is largely stroller-friendly and mostly accessible to people with disabilities.
If you don’t have your own disc golf discs, you can rent them at the Weingarten Children’s and Youth Center at Bugginger Straße 42. The youth center is located just a few minutes from Dietenbachpark. For information on current rental options and course operations, contact Heads Up Freiburg e.V., which manages the course.
