A Moment's Pause: Handling Fragile Objects
During the short tour of the exhibition “Marcel van Eeden. August 6, 1870” at the Haus der Graphischen Sammlung in the Augustian museum, ethnologist Nicole Landmann-Burghart discusses how to handle sensitive objects. This topic is a key aspect of van Eeden’s exploration of the fate of Abdel Kader Ben Lahcenun, a colonial soldier from North Africa, and the handling of his remains. Participation costs the regular admission fee of 12 euros; reduced rate is 8 euros. In addition, a free event ticket is required. Event and admission tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office. The meeting point is the foyer of the Haus der Graphischen Sammlung, Salzstraße 32/34.
Admission is free for those under 27, members of the Friends of the Museum, and holders of the Freiburg Pass, Family Card, or Museums-Pass-Musées.
