Intercultural Weeks Freiburg 2023

From September 25 to October 11, 2026, the Freiburg Intercultural Weeks (IKW) will transform the city into a vibrant hub for people to come together. Under this year’s nationwide motto “dafür!” ( ), the event sends a strong message in support of diversity and solidarity and against discrimination. Supported by a steadily growing, open network, people with and without a migration background will present their perspectives, traditions, and passions throughout the city.

The varied program, featuring numerous events in the neighborhoods and downtown, offers a platform for dialogue and exchange.
