The joy of eating at home in good company begins right at the grocery store. The anticipation is especially great when, at the farm stand, we can take home to our kitchen an abundance of fresh, regional produce in all its splendor.

The “Badische Hofladen Cookbook” contains over 90 recipes, as well as plenty of information and tips on regional products and their unique characteristics. It also introduces the producers, along with the addresses of the farm stands. But all of this is topped off with a generous dash of humor thanks to Peter Gaymann’s creative cartoons. So there’s no shortage of laughter while cooking.
An evening of stories, local recipes, and wonderfully personally signed books. You’ll also have the chance to sample a few bites, and of course, a glass of Baden wine is a must.

Peter Gaymann was born in Freiburg and is one of Germany’s most successful cartoonists. His trademark is his chickens.

Hans-Albert Stechl was born in the Black Forest and is an attorney specializing in labor and media law. He loves to unwind at home in the kitchen or by writing about culinary topics.
