At this year's 24-hour run for children's rights in the Seeparkstadion, runners can once again raise money for children's and youth projects in Freiburg.
For the 20th time, the 24h Run for Children's Rights will take place in Freiburg, this time from Saturday, June 27 to Sunday, June 28, 2026.
The run combines sport and social commitment: The aim is to draw attention to the 1989 UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and to raise public awareness of children's rights and child protection. Therefore, 100% of the donations raised will go to local children and youth projects.
Conditions of participation: The participating teams can run, walk, run in a relay or even participate in a wheelchair. Each team must complete a total of 24 consecutive hours on the 400-meter track in the Seeparkstadion. You can run together or individually, but one person must always be in motion with the baton. Individuals, companies, clubs or schools can form teams.
In addition to financial support for the runners, companies can also donate directly by registering on the 24-hour run website by June 27. Spectators and other participants can also collect donations or make donations themselves until June 27 to support children's rights.
The run is being organized for the ninth time by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe in cooperation with the City of Freiburg and the Deutsches Kinderhilfswerk.
