La Reine The road bike festival exclusively for women

A REINE is a road bike marathon exclusively for women. The format has existed in Switzerland since 2021 and is coming to Germany for the first time on Friday, September 26/Saturday, September 27, 2025.

LA REINE is a mixture of popular sport, pleasure and lifestyle event. The core of the event is a big ride with start and finish in the city center of Freiburg with a route along idyllic roads through the Markgräflerland and Kaiserstuhl wine regions (either 170 or 100 km). There will also be several workshops and socializing opportunities.

A highlight are several gourmet stations along the route with top-class regional food and drink. The focus is on enjoyment and the pleasure of cycling, but those with sporting ambitions can compete in the optional race category, whereby the time is not recorded from start to finish, but only on some sections of the route, so that enjoyment is not neglected here either. Around 500 participants are expected in the first year.
