Kiss Me, Kate - Premiere

Cole Porter’s best-known and most successful musical
…and yet more than just a musical. A tribute to the theater itself.
A theater troupe is staging Shakespeare’s “The Taming of the Shrew.”
But the truly interesting part takes place behind the scenes.......
Producer Frederik Graham and his ex-wife Lili Vanessi are back on stage together. Their attempt to handle the situation calmly and professionally fails just as quickly as their hope for a smooth premiere. To make matters worse, two gangsters infiltrate the cast.......
Cole Porter’s rousing “swing” fuels this turbulent glimpse behind the “theater facade” and shows that stage performers are only human, after all.
