Kirk Fletcher - virtuosity with soul
feeling on six strings. Kirk Fletcher, born in 1975 in Bellflower, California, grew up in his father's church and found his musical origins there. Inspired by his brother, he began playing guitar at an early age and soon became an integral part of the West Coast blues scene.
He played with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Joe Bonamassa and Eros Ramazzotti, toured with Michelle Branch and took part in Grammy-nominated productions. In 2022, he released his seventh studio album Heartache By The Pound, recorded at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals. The album combines gospel, soul and deep-rooted blues - with great feeling and a clear commitment to the dignity of the genre.
Fletcher himself says: "I am simply a bluesman. My guitar is my loudspeaker for all the things I feel and want to express."
