Elephant Beans is not only one of the leading small roasting companies, but also a pioneer of modern coffee culture in Germany. Elephant Beans sets itself apart from others with its intensive involvement with almost all facets of coffee, from researching the plant in its ecosystem to the producer and the cup. The green coffees are sourced directly from the coffee farmers, with whom the company has a long-standing relationship. The coffee and espresso varieties roasted in Freiburg are a treat for gourmets. The roastery is known for its versatility and offers specialty coffees that are accompanied from the tree to the cup. The regional roasting ensures unlimited good taste. Elephant Beans can be found at two locations in and around Freiburg: the roastery and café in Basler Straße and the roastery and coffee school in March-Buchheim. The roastery café is small and cozy. From March to October, the Elephant Garden offers additional outdoor space for guests.
