49th International Mineral & Fossil Days

On October 17 and 18, 2026, the International Mineral and Fossil Days will take place for the 49th time in Hall 1 of Messe Freiburg. The VFMG, the "Vereinigung der Freunde der Mineralogie und Geologie" Bezirksgruppe Freiburg e.V., cordially invites you to attend! More than 80 exhibitors, amateurs and professionals from eight nations will be offering their minerals, gemstones, fossils, meteorites, jewelry and collectors' accessories for sale and exchange on around 340 m of tables.

As every year, children can go on a treasure hunt! There will also be an opportunity to cut and polish gemstones. Each child will also receive a mineral or fossil as a souvenir.
