Open Farm Weekend
Experience the diversity of regional agriculture right on your doorstep, take a look behind the scenes of food production, and chat with the farmers: The Organic Model Region cordially invites you to do just that! Around Emmendingen, Denzlingen, and Gundelfingen, four participating farms will open their doors for the “Open Farm Weekend.”
Whether it’s a bike ride, a late-summer hike, or a comfortable trip by public transportation—the weekend offers a wonderful opportunity for an outing with your family or friends.
On the agenda:
- A look behind the scenes: Learn firsthand how our regional foods are produced.
- Fun for all ages: A varied program of activities awaits visitors of all ages at the farms.
- Culinary highlights: Delicious regional delicacies will keep everyone well-fed.
Admission to all participating farms is completely free on both days.

- Saturday, September 19, 2026 (10 a.m.–6 p.m.): Kornzept in Gundelfingen & Hochburg-Areal in Emmendingen
- Sunday, September 20, 2026 (10 a.m.–6 p.m.): Gärtnerei Witt in Emmendingen & Südhof in Denzlingen
