Weinhof Mößner

The Mößner Winery in Freiburg-Tiengen is the retail outlet of the Tiengen Winegrowers’ Cooperative (Winzergenossenschaft Tiengen e.G.) and offers wines from the Tiengen vineyard valley on the Tuniberg. The sun-drenched terraced slopes and the region’s characteristic loess soils shape the character of the wines produced here.

The selection includes numerous Baden grape varieties, including Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Muskateller, Sauvignon Blanc, and various Pinot Noir wines in Weißherbst, rosé, and red varieties.

Visitors can participate in wine tastings by registering in advance. These are offered for groups and can be supplemented, upon request, with a traditional Baden winemaker’s snack. The focus is on regional specialties and the wines of the Tuniberg. A ride on the historic Winzer-Express through the Tuniberg vineyards offers a special experience. During the tour, guests gain insights into the history of viticulture in the region and enjoy views of the vineyard landscape between Freiburg and Kaiserstuhl. Wine tastings and a snack can be optionally included in the program.

The Weinhof is located in the Tiengen district of Freiburg, on the city’s western outskirts, and thus in one of South Baden’s most significant wine-growing regions. For visitors to the Tuniberg and the neighboring Kaiserstuhl region, the Weinhof is the perfect place to discover regional wines right on site.
