Sonnenbrunnen-Strauße

In the middle of the Tuniberg village of Opfingen, the Sonnenbrunnen Strauße invites you to enjoy hours of pleasure in a special atmosphere. The traditional ostrich restaurant is part of the Sonnenbrunnen organic winery and is one of the first organically run wineries in Freiburg. Baden hospitality, regional cuisine and organic viticulture come together in the historic rooms of the over 200-year-old winery.

Homemade Baden specialties such as tarte flambée, sausage salad, meat patties, seasonal asparagus dishes as well as vegetarian and vegan dishes are served. Guests can also enjoy organic wines from the restaurant's own vineyards, which are vinified on site. The cozy outdoor area with its rural flair between vineyards and courtyard romance is particularly popular. The offer is complemented by wine tastings, covered wagon rides across the Tuniberg and events related to wine and regional culture.
