Wine walk in the St. Georgen vineyards
Guided tour through the Freiburg St Georgen vineyards on the Schönberg and the "Wendlingen" district with a wine tasting and a glass of sparkling wine.
Andreas Vögele comes from a family that has been rooted in the St. Georgen district and in viticulture for generations. The vineyards in St. Georgen in the "Steinler" vineyard at the foot of the Schönberg are the gateway to the Baden wine-growing region of Markgräflerland. On the tour, you will experience wonderful views of the Rhine Valley and the town. Andreas will show you how wine and viticulture fit into the heart of life and explain the history of German and European viticulture using the example of Freiburg St. Georgen and various grape varieties and wine-growing methods.
The event takes place in all weathers. In case of bad weather, the tour through the vineyards will be canceled and the wine tasting will take place in the Winzerhaus.
