What Does Death Mean to You? — A Discussion on Dying at the Fair-Fashion-Concept store Blickfang

Barbara Rolf, the author of *What Does Death Mean to You?*, and Uli Steinfels, the owner of the fair-fashion concept store Blickfang, are connected—among many other things—by a profound experience surrounding the death of a young person. As painful as this experience was, it also powerfully demonstrated that while we cannot decide what happens to us, we can decide how we deal with it and what we make of it.

The Words & Vibes evening will focus on stories like these, as Barbara Rolf reads from her book at the Blickfang concept store, accompanied by music. Refreshments will be served, and a donation box will be available.

About the author Barbara Rolf:
She is a theologian and has worked in the funeral industry for over 20 years. Intern, employed funeral director, funeral home owner, eulogist, grief counselor, casket bearer, department head, and director—the professional perspectives from which she has been able to observe death, death, funerals, and grief are manifold.
Added to this are formative personal experiences.
Today, she channels her knowledge and passion into advocating for a contemporary and humane culture of dying.
