Presentations by the Freiburg-based publishers Nonsolo and 8 Grad - Book Presentations

As part of the Words & Vibes book festival, the two Freiburg-based publishers, Nonsolo Verlag and 8 Grad Verlag, will be showcasing their titles at the Zum Wetzstein bookstore. On Friday and Saturday, publisher Alessandra Ballesi-Hansen (Nonsolo) and publisher Dr. Matthias Grüb (8 Grad Verlag) will each be present to showcase their publishers’ books.

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the following book presentations will also take place at the bookstore:

12:00 p.m.: Daniela Engist reads from her book *Mein Basel* (8 Grad-Verlag)

1:00 p.m.: Rolf Schlenkerreads from his regional crime novel *Reicherts Suche* (8 Grad-Verlag)

2:00 p.m.: Alessandra Ballesi-Hansen presents the latest new releases from Nonsolo Verlag

3:00 p.m.: Cornelia Tomaschkopresents her books *Mein Nordschwarzwald* (8 Grad-Verlag) and *Mein Südschwarzwald* (8 Grad-Verlag)

4:00 p.m.: Rainer Moritz presents his new book *Die Maultasche: A Brief Cultural History* (8 Grad-Verlag)

Each reading will last 20 minutes. Afterward, there will be an opportunity to talk with the authors.
