Tranquilla: A Trusty Companion

A Musical Fable by Michael Ende

His Majesty King Leo the 28th, with his magnificent mane, invites all the animals to his wedding. While the king’s chef prepares the wedding feast, he recounts the adventurous story of Tranquilla Trampeltreu the turtle, who has set out on what seems to her an endlessly long journey to the wedding celebration.
