The Crescendo Freiburg Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2014 by Felix Mildenberger, Debora Preuß and Johanna Herzog and currently consists of around 120 young aspiring professional musicians*, professionals and experienced amateurs who develop and perform a concert program in intensive project phases.
In addition to the artistic work and the joy of making music together, the orchestra pursues two further goals: Firstly, to give younger generations access to classical music. The orchestra and the music can be experienced at first hand through moderated rehearsals or school concerts. Secondly, the orchestra wants to get involved in society and collects donations for social and charitable causes.
