Segni olimpici - olympic signs olympic dreams

On the occasion of the Olympic Games in Milano-Cortina, the Italian Consulate in Freiburg and the Freiburg-Black Forest Olympic training center invite you to a special exhibition: Twelve unpublished drawings by Sergio Ponchione all about Olympic winter sports, iconic moments and athletes and the underlying idea of performance, fairness and international encounters. The exhibition is supplemented with exhibits from the Hinterzarten Ski Museum and thus builds a bridge between the past and present of winter sports and locates the Olympic idea in the regional sports history of the Black Forest. The aim is to make it possible to experience the Olympics not only as a major sporting event, but also as a cultural and social phenomenon. As the Olympic Games unfold in Italy, this exhibition from the Italian Consulate brings the Olympic spirit directly to Freiburg in the Olympic training center.

The exhibition is being held in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute Stuttgart and Mo' Better Football Modena and will also be shown in Stuttgart at the same time.
