Chocolate workshop: A journey through the world of cocoa

Cocoa beans were originally used to prepare a ritual drink, but under colonial occupation they became a coveted commodity and a symbol of the plantation economy. Problematic cultivation and trading conditions have persisted to this day. In this workshop, we will make chocolate ourselves and learn about the global chocolate value chain and its players.
