Poetry Slam - Hosted by Ansgar Hufnagel

The audience listens spellbound to the words of the slam poets.

A polished punchline comes around the corner and is echoed in loud laughter, a polished rhymed text surprises with its depth, a short story tells a story from life.

Almost anything is possible in the modern poetry competition "Poetry Slam".

The textual diversity knows no bounds - while some people devote themselves to poetry, others chat anecdotally about their everyday life in a relaxed prose style, others are political with clear statements and rampant wordplay is just as common as philosophical excursions that like to challenge the audience.

The texts must be self-written, the time limit of seven minutes must not be exceeded and no props may be used. Otherwise, the slam poets show all their skills in order to reach the judges (the audience) with their texts.

Presenter Ansgar Hufnagel invites slam poets from Freiburg, the region and German-speaking countries.

A varied and entertaining evening is guaranteed.
