Lecture: The Former “Alexander Ecker Collection,” “Racial Theory,” and Responsibility Between Colonialism and National Socialism

The Museum für Neue Kunst (Museum of Contemporary Art) invites you to a lecture event at the Documentation Center on National Socialism.
Dieter Speck, former director of the University campus Freiburg Archives, and Christoph Balzer, provenance researcher at the University campus Freiburg, will provide insight into the university’s colonial scientific collections. They will highlight connections to the exhibition “Marcel van Eeden. August 6, 1870” at the Haus der Graphischen Sammlung. A free event ticket is required to attend. Tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office. Space is limited.
