Due to a clash of dates with Martha Argerich, we unfortunately have to postpone our concert with Martha Argerich & Jura Margulis planned for March 16, 2026 at the Konzerthaus (concert hall) Freiburg. The new concert date is October 18, 2026. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Your tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date and do not need to be exchanged. Simply bring your tickets with you to the new concert date.

If you are unable to attend the rescheduled date, you can return your tickets to the advance booking office where you purchased them.

Experiencing music together - Martha Argerich is a pianist for whom new categories need to be invented. The power and artistry of the Argentinian, who also enchants audiences with her stunning charisma at every stage of her life, constantly challenges new superlatives. At the same time, she has resisted the circus surrounding her talent since childhood. The music world has adapted to this unconventional talent of the century and gratefully accepts whatever the tigress at the keys is prepared to give. For Martha Argerich, playing by her own rules means, among other things, that for a long time she has only made music with those people with whom she feels joy.

These include Jura Margulis, the internationally sought-after soloist and renowned teacher, who is well known to Freiburg audiences through numerous concerts. It was an electrifying performance to experience his arrangement of Mussorgsky's "A Night on a Bare Mountain" performed by four pianists' hands on two grand pianos!

The Stuttgarter Nachrichten wrote about a concert by the duo in mid-February 2026 with the program heard at Albert: "Storms of enthusiasm ... Martha Argerich finds a soulmate in Jura Margulis who is ready to mesh ... A delightful event!" We are really looking forward to it!
