Puppet Show: PIPPI LONGSTOCKING IN TAKA-TUKA LAND
One day, Pippi finds a message in a bottle on the riverbank from her father, the king of Taka-Tuka Island. In it, he explains that he is being held captive there by pirates who are trying to force him to reveal the hiding place of his buried treasure.
So Pippi flies to Taka-Tuka Island in a homemade balloon with her little monkey, “Mr. Nielson,” to help her father.
There they encounter the somewhat dim-witted pirates Blood-Svente and Knife-Jocke, who are still digging for the treasure that Pippi’s father once hid there.
Back home, Pippi’s friends Tommy and Annika wait eagerly to see if Pippi will succeed in chasing the pirates away and returning happily together to Villa Villekulla.
Distinctive characters and beautiful hand-painted backdrops create a memorable live experience for young and old alike.
The play is adapted for children ages 2 and up and runs approximately 50 minutes.
