For three generations, the stories of this lovable rascal have captivated children in many countries around the world.
Susanne Preußler-Bitsch discovered an unfinished story among her father’s papers and completed it in the familiar Hotzenplotz style.
Sergeant Dimpfelmoser has a problem once again. Hotzenplotz, the most dangerous robber far and wide, has once again broken out of his prison in the fire station. Kasperl and Seppel are trying to figure out how to solve the problem once and for all. How about simply shooting the man with the pepper gun and the seven knives all the way to the moon? Isn’t there gold and silver up there—the very things Hotzenplotz can’t get enough of? So they quickly build an ingenious moon rocket. Will the plan succeed, with the children eagerly pitching in?
This classic Kasperl play—featuring the well-known characters Robber Hotzenplotz, Sergeant Dimpfelmoser, Kasperl, Seppel, and Grandmother—has been adapted for children ages 4 and up and lasts approximately 50 minutes.
Distinctive characters and beautiful hand-painted sets round out this live experience.
