Mar Malade - "Tourists" Tour

Songs by Mar Malade are like a vacation in music. Originally born out of a small everyday escape by two friends, Mar Malade, consisting of Alexander Hauer and Michèl M. Almeida, have now released three albums "full of summer" and taken their songs (including "Mexico", "Cabriolet", "Jungle") on concert tours through Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Now the touring duo are spreading out their "towels" for the fourth time, have "reserved" 11 concert halls and are going on a "Tourist" tour in October 2026.
Mar Malade and their multi-instrumental live band not only present their sometimes energetic, sometimes dancing, sometimes nostalgic music with an irrepressible joy of playing (as only grandma would have allowed as a child, but she's the one who cooks the sticky-sweet jam) - but also the one or other entertaining and curious moment between the songs. The drummer reads the horoscope from the local press and all the ibexes in the hall, Alexander sings the classic hiking song "Hejo, spann den Wagen an" with the audience or Michèl wanders around the stage pantomiming Helge Schneider as "Sportsman". Each evening of a Mar Malade tour creates its own, well-warmed space full of music, joy and shared moments for and with the audience.
