Luisenhöhe – Gesundheitsresort Schwarzwald
On a high plateau on the western slope of the Schauinsland, the Luisenhöhe health and nature resort at an altitude of 600 meters offers a mix of nature & architecture as well as wellness & sport.
The various saunas in the GesundKunft spa have panoramic windows with views of the forest, the Vosges mountains and the Schönberg landscape; the 25-metre-long heated outdoor pool offers a panoramic view of the Black Forest and Freiburg's local mountain, Schauinsland. In addition to relaxation, the Luisenhöhe also offers beauty treatments and medical fitness with courses and equipment training. The hotel also has 83 rooms and suites as well as the Luise restaurant.
Special concept for dinner: The four-course menu at Luise is prepared using regional ingredients and is completely vegetarian; fish and meat can be deliberately added. Where does the name 'Luise' come from? A nod to Princess Luise of Prussia and wife of the Grand Duke of Baden, Friedrich I of Baden.
