Literary Evening with Tilman Spreckelsen on His Book "Almost Like a Fairy Tale: The Brothers Grimm and Their Time" at the Zum Wetzstein Bookstore

We probably all have the Brothers Grimm’s fairy tales on our bookshelves. But that’s not all they left behind. Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm laid the foundation for German linguistics and literary studies. Yet they were also products of their time. They shaped that era, and it shaped them as well. This evening, together with Tilman Spreckelsen, we’ll delve into the lives of the two brothers and the era in which they lived. We’re sure to learn new and fascinating things along the way.
