Literary Evening with Author Sasa Hanten to Celebrate Her Debut Novel *Talent for Happiness* at the Zum Wetzstein Bookstore

Sasa Hanten, an author living in Vienna and Cologne, has done quite a bit in her life. As a lawyer, art theorist, and expert on contemporary visual art, she has learned to look closely at things. And that’s what her first novel is all about.

The novel’s title and chapter headings might suggest a light read, but:

the world of carnival performers, love, loss, the longing for home, and coping with dementia are just a few of the themes in this deeply realistic work.

Writing, keen observation, and life: Susanne Bader and Björn Siller will discuss these topics with the author this evening, drawing on the novel.
