Literary-Musical Performance / Reading with Music

How do those affected, their loved ones, and professionals experience a mental health crisis? Through literary texts and live musical performances, “Crisis. Voice. Music.” offers diverse perspectives on mental illness, treatment, compulsion, shame, hope, and relationships. The voices of a person living with mental illness, a caregiver, a judge, a daughter, and a husband engage in dialogue with one another. A moving evening exploring humanity, vulnerability, and severe mental health crises—as a contribution to destigmatizing mental illness.
