The first evening of the 2026 song recital series will take place on Monday, September 21, 2026, under the title “Song’s Eternity.” We are delighted that English soprano Carolyn Sampson, together with her longtime lieder accompanist Joseph Middleton, will be returning to Freiburg. In addition to songs by Henry Purcell and Francis Poulenc, the program also features a song cycle by English composer Deborah Pritchard, which will receive its German premiere.
