From September 3–5, 2026, numerous artisans will bring Freiburg’s Upper Old Town to life
Every September, numerous artists and artisans display their work in the streets and alleys between Münster and Augustinerplatz. Visitors can spend many pleasant hours in the picturesque Old Town and visit the individual exhibitors at their respective booths.
With a diverse lineup of around 100 exhibitors, the market showcases a wide range of arts and crafts, from traditional crafts to contemporary designs.
From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, visitors can browse the alleys and squares of the Old Town and be inspired by the creativity and precision of the artisans. In addition to goldsmithing, painting, sculpture, and fashion design, there are also ceramics, hand-made soaps, and much more.
