Guided Tour: Marcel van Eeden

This tour introduces the 70-piece series “August 6, 1870” by artist Marcel van Eeden, which is currently on view at the House of Graphic Art in the Augustian museum. The starting point for van Eeden’s artistic exploration is the fate of a colonial soldier from North Africa during the Franco-Prussian War. The artist examines the intertwining themes of nationalism, colonialism, and racism. The event ticket costs 2.50 euros, plus admission of 12 euros (reduced rate: 8 euros). Event and admission tickets are available in the online shop and at the museum ticket office. The meeting point is the foyer of the Haus der Graphischen Sammlung, Salzstraße 32/34.

Admission is free for those under 27, members of the Friends of the Museum, holders of a Freiburg Pass, Family Card, or Museums-Pass-Musées.
