Online lecture: Successful partnership in family life with young children

In couples counseling, we experience it every day: The time after the birth of the children is very often named as the starting point for couple crises: "That's when we lost each other...!"

"I've never felt so alone as I did in the years after our daughter was born", "After the children arrived, we were just parents, since then things have gone downhill for us..."

Life with children turns many things upside down, certainly including the parents' relationship. The couple relationship must therefore also be developed in order to remain lively and sustainable.

The lecture will highlight typical relationship pitfalls and provide concrete suggestions for creating a successful partnership in this exciting phase of life. This is based on findings from attachment research and experience from couples therapy and parenting advice.

For parents with small children and expectant mothers and fathers, preferably as a couple, but participation is also useful if only one of the partners has time or interest.
