The Color of Form - Decor and Surface Design

In this surface design course, students will learn how to add color to a slab during the manufacturing process and how the objects made from it can then be further refined using various surface design techniques. For example, it is possible to incorporate even the thinnest colored lines into the clay. A variety of colored clays are available; porcelain engobes in a wide range of colors will be made together in class. Of course, the technique of slab building will be covered just as much as surface design.
The course is suitable for beginners and advanced students alike
