An Evening in the Style of the Roaring Twenties

On Saturday, October 24, the ballroom Freiburg will be transformed into the world of the Golden Twenties for one night: with dancing, music, little secrets, and sparkling details.

“Charleston & Champagne” takes you back to a time when people danced exuberantly, celebrated, and enjoyed life with a glass of champagne in hand. With a jazz atmosphere, ’20s flair, and lovingly crafted specials, the evening will feel a bit like stepping back in time.

If you’d like, come dressed in a ’20s outfit—with suspenders, fringe, feather headpieces, or vintage details.

On the dance floors, you’ll find everything that makes for a great ballroom night: a large standard/Latin floor, a line dance floor, a West Coast Swing floor, and a vintage swing floor. Our Charleston workshop will get you moving. Later, a show will provide the perfect moment to sit back, watch, and enjoy.

There’s plenty to discover away from the dance floors, too. At the bar, you can toast the Roaring Twenties with a glass of champagne. To go with it, we’ll serve bar food in the style of that era—including classic hot dogs. In our vintage photo corner, you can capture your memories of the evening.

And somewhere inside the ballroom Freiburg, the Speak Easy Bar is hiding. Only those who find it and know the secret password will gain access to this special place.

Admission: Advance tickets starting at €15, at the door €22 (students €18). Advance ticket sales begin on Sun, Sept. 20 at 9:00 a.m.

Dress code: Anyone who ’d like to is welcome to come in a 1920s-style outfit
