BYRDS - SWEETHEART OF THE RODEO
The Byrds opened a new chapter in 1968 with Sweetheart of the Rodeo. Far from psychedelia and beat, they turn to the original American sound of country. Pedal steel guitar, clear harmonies and songs by Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan and old traditional songs characterize the work. The album is like a dusty drive through the West - simple, honest and full of heart. A bold step that brings rock and country closer together.
BLUE SIDE OF TOWN
No other band in southern Germany cultivates and plays country music as authentically and passionately as Blue Side of Town. The members of the band are known for their professionalism and dedication from many other projects and deliver an exclusive and emotional country and rock show as a group. Highlights are the steel guitar, the fiddle and the expressive, polyphonic vocals.
We are looking forward to a fantastic evening with the masters of the country scene as they bring the Birds album "Sweetheart of the Rodeo" to our stage.
