Archaic treasures: Jewelry made from bones, antlers and co.
In earlier times, antlers, bones and animal teeth were versatile raw materials for mysterious amulets and individual jewelry, among other things. Even today, these original, easily workable materials still exert a great fascination on us. The color, surface and structure give each piece of jewelry a unique look. Inspired by archaic finds and modern creations, in this course we will make a pendant with personal meaning by hand (without power tools). Bone plates and antler cuts are included in the course fee (bone beads and animal teeth to complement the pendant for the necklace can be purchased additionally from the course instructor). All necessary tools and materials will be provided. Small group with max. 7 participants. - Please bring along: Clothes that can get dirty/dusty and, if necessary, respiratory protection against fine dust (available from DIY stores) and a little patience.
