In the run-up to the premiere, join director Monika Gintersdorfer and renowned operetta specialist Kevin Clarke as they explore the wit of Jacques Offenbach and gain insight into the inner workings of his vast entertainment empire. Money and connections played a central role then, just as they do today—and this is what we aim to explore. The radical world of operetta serves as the starting point for our examination of social power dynamics in relation to the global political order.
