Alberta and the ABCs of Wishes - Interactive Exhibition (ages 4 and up)
With a school of glittering fish, hidden-object wallpaper, and interactive illustrations, Freiburg-based scenographer Jens Burde is transforming the Literaturhaus into a walk-in picture book for four weeks. Welcome to the enchanting world of “Albertas Wunschladen” (Kunstanstifter, 2023)! Amid a cabinet of curiosities brimming with stories, wondrous objects, and secret wishes penned by Swiss illustrator Martina Walther, we present readings featuring the world’s largest kamishibai, workshops, and picture-book concerts for young and old alike.
