Alberta and the ABCs of Wishes - Interactive Exhibition (ages 4 and up)
With a school of glittering fish, hidden-object wallpaper, and illustrations you can touch, Freiburg-based scenographer Jens Burde is transforming the Literaturhaus into a walk-through picture book for four weeks. Welcome to the enchanting world of “Albertas Wunschladen” (Kunstanstifter, 2023)! Amid a chamber of wonders filled with stories, astonishing objects, and secret wishes penned by Swiss illustrator Martina Walther, we’re presenting readings featuring the world’s largest kamishibai, workshops, and picture book concerts for young and old alike.
