Everyday objects are often just as exciting for children to discover as their colorful toys. What might it look like if the world of things came to life? The dance piece Dingsbums by Barbara Fuchs is dedicated to kitchen utensils. In this performance for a very young audience, familiar objects suddenly develop a life of their own, becoming fellow dancers, mirror images. Three performers explore, feel and experience this world of things - and connect with them: The objects become extensions of their bodies, disappearing under their clothes. Things, people and movements merge together in a wondrous way, creating completely new hybrid beings.
