Open Farm Weekend

Experience the diversity of regional agriculture right on your doorstep, take a look behind the scenes of food production, and chat with the farmers: We cordially invite you to join us on September 19 and 20, 2026!

Around Emmendingen, Denzlingen, and Gundelfingen, four participating farms will open their doors for the “Open Farm Weekend.” And we’re one of them!

Whether as part of a bike tour, a late-summer hike, or the convenient option of public transportation—this weekend offers a wonderful opportunity for a day trip.

We’ll be participating as the Hochburg site in the 2026 Open Farm Weekend!

On September 19, 2026, we’ll transform the Hochburg grounds into a place for connection, behind-the-scenes insights, and enjoyment!

When? Saturday, September 19, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Where? Hochburg 7, Emmendingen

Admission? Free, of course!

Highlights for you:

10 a.m.: Opening ceremony with welcoming remarks

11 a.m. & 2 p.m.: Guided tour of the Hofgut Domäne Hochburg

12 p.m. & 3 p.m.: Guided tour of the Dreher Winery

1:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.: Guided tour of the Agricultural Education Center

Live music

All day long: Children’s activities, delicious organic food & drinks, audio guide, information booths
