Open Farm Weekend

Experience the diversity of regional agriculture right on your doorstep, take a look behind the scenes of food production, and chat with the farmers: We cordially invite you to join us on September 19 and 20, 2026!

Around Emmendingen, Denzlingen, and Gundelfingen, four participating farms will open their doors for the “Open Farm Weekend.” And we’re one of them!

Whether as part of a bike tour, a late-summer hike, or simply by public transportation—this weekend offers a wonderful opportunity for a day trip.

On September 19, 2026, we’ll transform our field between Gundelfingen and Heuweiler into a place for connection and enjoyment!

When? Saturday, Sept. 19, 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Where? Event field between Gundelfingen and Heuweiler. Signposted from Gundelfingen Station (perfect for biking!)

Admission? Free!

Highlights for you:

11 a.m. & 3 p.m.: Farm tours & field discussions

1:00 p.m.: Live music with “Peaceful Peas”

All day long: Kids’ activities, mobile cooking school, delicious organic food & drinks, fresh, heirloom seeds

Bonus tip: The Hochburg grounds in Emmendingen are also opening their doors on the same day! Perfect for a combined outing.
