The Brühl district is often overlooked. Yet it is worth taking a look at the courtyards, picturesque little houses and a former, once highly controversial church. What's more, the Brühl district is documented as early as the 13th century, so we are treading on historical ground. The district, which is often considered to be part of Zähringen, is not yet firmly anchored in the consciousness of the population. However, with its many green spaces, it has what it takes to become a preferred residential area. Small secret paths around Hornusstraße lead to hidden cultural monuments, unknown corners and an architectural diversity that you wouldn't expect just by driving through. At the end of the tour, there are even Art Nouveau elements with a shell as a leitmotif. Herdern and Zähringen are not the only picturesque places. - Registration required.
