We find city

In his 1930 singspiel Wir bauen eine Stadt (We are building a city ), Paul Hindemith creates a city in which only the children are in charge. But who actually says what here - and for whom? The children's and youth choir takes Hindemith at his word and builds its own polyphonic city - somewhere between concert and theater, castle in the air and anarchy, desire and reality.
