On Saturday, May 02, 2026, the Ballroom Freiburg once again invites you to its annual May Ball. Look forward to an unforgettable night of dancing with thrilling show acts, exclusive workshops and a varied music program.
May begins with a special event for us.
When the days get longer and you feel like dressing up and going out again, it's May Ball. An evening to welcome spring - with music, dancing and the feeling that something new is about to begin.
The focus is on our large Standard & Latin area - space for all those who want to enjoy the ball in a classic style.
The highlight of the evening will be a live performance by the Cotton Club Orchestra. Welcome back to the "Golden Age of Jazz" - hot, sweet and crazy. Swing to dance to, join in or simply listen to.
The evening is complemented by other floors with different styles of music. There will also be a silent disco followed by a big after-show party with Oliver Schmitt-Hartmann live - the exceptional musical talent known from TikTok and Instagram.
Dress code: Party chic or ball gown - however you feel comfortable.
Let us surprise you - we have once again planned special shows and specials on several floors for you.
