Puberty is an exciting time for parents. In particular, dealing with first love and first sex can lead to uncertainty. What rights do teenagers have and what should parents know in order to be able to guide their teenagers well in their sexual development? And what roles do social media play in particular, where a large part of adolescents' social lives take place today?
The lecture provides guidance on the age limits for young people between 14 and 18 years of age and goes into detail on how a risk-conscious approach to social media as part of young people's sexual lives can look.
About the lecturer: Christiane Wächter is a sexologist in Offenburg and Freiburg. She works with individuals, couples and various institutions on all kinds of issues relating to sexuality. As a sex educator, she supports profamilia Karlsruhe in its work with schools.
