Urban Sketching Day at the Christmas market - day excursion on St. Nicholas Day

Glittering lights, the scent of fir trees and a pinch of anticipation - Freiburg's Christmas market is a wonderful subject for lively sketches. Together we explore the decorated old town with its stalls, lights and details that are otherwise easily overlooked. Whether steaming mulled wine, wooden toys or poinsettias - we draw what appeals to us and learn how to capture scenes quickly and expressively. - Please bring: various pens and colors of your choice, a sketchbook or notebook and possibly a place to sit (folding stool, seat). Please give your cell phone number when registering so that we can reach you on the way. The meeting point is in the Black Monastery room 110, from where we will set off together and also find shelter there in case of bad weather. - For participants who have already taken a sketching or urban sketching course with Annette Gevatter or already have previous knowledge of drawing.
